Robin and I love exploring together. From new patio restaurants here in San Francisco to cute cider houses in Seattle or even across the pond to Europe, our next stop, adventures are always around the corner. My favorite way to learn about places to visit – from a good lunch spot to the inside scoop on what an event or museum is really like, is to chat with locals. But, before we “hit the ground” so to speak, I try to do some inspiration hunting beforehand.
The latest tool I’ve been using to plot adventures big and small is Jeeyo, a brand new social that app that helps connect people better. I can start a story about my favorite rooftop brunch spot here in San Francisco and other people can add photos of their own so I can not only learn about new spots but scout out the view ahead of time. Or, I can start a story at an event, people can add to it, and we can see everyone’s take on the day all in one place. I’m personally excited to try this at Oktoberfest in Germany (stop one of that European trip I mentioned!) I’m hoping others at the fest can recommend the current best beer tent to visit – I hear there are a lot of each one offers something different!
I love traveling so much because it makes me feel extra connected to the world around me. Plotting trips has become so much easier these days thanks to modern apps like Jeeyo. I remember planning my first solo international trip with the Rick Steves guidebooks! Ha!
I’d love to see you on Jeeyo. I’ve started some stories you can add to, or start your own and let me know so I can add to your story! Download Jeeyo and start connecting with me here.
Thank you to Jeeyo for sponsoring this post.
