Eating balanced meals at work isn’t always easy. I know I can’t be the only one who quickly throws together a really sad salad or sandwich in the morning before rushing out the door, only to realize later at work that it’s not at all what I should be eating (or want to be eating). As someone who tries to eat well while saving money, I always like to bring my own lunch to work. One of my secrets is purchasing a couple of Lean Cuisine Marketplace Collection frozen meals and keeping them at work, so all I have to do is bring a homemade side to have a balanced lunch. With the winter calling for comfort food, lately my favorite lunch has been homemade Baked Chicken Nuggets paired with the Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese by Lean Cuisine Marketplace. It tugs at memories of childhood while being a balanced and delicious meal that has options made with organic ingredients. I love eating filling meals at work. I think it’s a go-to for most adults to just grab small leftovers or pick up a salad for lunch and find themselves hungry an hour later. But whenever I have a Lean Cuisine Marketplace meal with a side, I find myself being able to focus better and stay full all day.
So, to inspire you to always have a good lunch option, I’m sharing my homemade chicken nugget recipe. It’s way tastier than the frozen, store-bought kind and much better for your body. I suggest pairing it with Lean Cuisine Marketplace’s Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese for a yummy meal. You can find it at your local Walmart!
