On the weekends Robin and I love to go on walks in the morning. This past Saturday we decided to take a stroll along Stow Lake in the Golden Gate Park.(Note, if you are ever visiting, rent a paddle boat on Stow Lake. So much fun!) Since it’s been warm still here, I threw on my trusty black aline dress that I picked up in Target a few seasons ago. (This kimono is also from Target. I really love Target, if you can’t tell.) I styled this look with my new MarissaTDesigns blue druzy bar necklace. I love how the blue and gold plate brings out the colors from my floral kimono! It’s one of those pieces that I have a feeling will become a staple.
One of the awesome things about Stow Lake is just how friendly the ducks are. Basically they’ve learned that people will give them food and they’ll waddle right up to you. Hi Mr. Duck! Can I take you home? You can live in my bathroom. It’ll work out.
Side note (Hi Mom, you remember this, right?) When I was younger I was an expert duck catcher. Ducks are pretty trusting – I would lure them close with food and them quickly grab them into a hug. Hey Mom, send me one of those photos to share here,K? 😉
Marissa is the designer behind MarissaTDesigns and she also sent over an adorbs lemon yellow quartz necklace and a long crystal quartz earrings. She hand makes everything and has a shop on Etsy. Go check her out if you’re looking to add some great handmade pieces to your jewelry collection. I’m a big Etsy fan because I love supporting artisans like Marissa.
