Aztec Maxi Dress In Minneapolis

The Freehouse is my favorite place to brunch in Minneapolis, so before we headed out of the city, Amy and I plus her boyfriend Kyle went to brunch.

It was a cloudy morning and as we were driving to The Freehouse in North East Minneapolis it started raining. Just my luck – I really wanted to sit outside in their pretty patio. It’s been close to a year since I’ve been to the Freehouse so their menu has changed a bit but all the food is still top notch. I ordered “The Freehouse” which is eggs, cheese and hashbrowns with a side of beer bread and jam. So. Freaking. Good. Normally I would also order a drink – they have great bloodys – but since I was driving I resisted the temptation. Almost. They offer really tiny portions of beer  (they brew their own!) and I got the #13, which is this yummy blueberry beer.

As I mentioned, we had some driving to do afterwards, so I wore this Aztec Maxi dress from Target since it’s so comfy. Perfect for roadtrips! I hate wearing tight clothes while driving. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this dress from people, so I guess that’s a good sign! I also included a picture of Amy since I think her romper is really cute. She got it from Forever21 a few months back.

Fun Fact: Right after I turned my camera off and put it in the bag, the skies opened up and started to POUR! We ran back to our car but still got soaked.
