Sunsets by Ocean Beach can be stunning. They’re usually always a bit chilly and windy, but on a hazy day they’re a soft gradient of purples and blues. On a clear day, catch the most colorful sunset you can imagine. On this night it was warm (for San Francisco), so I threw on my new white lace dress from Schoola, and Robin and I headed down to Ocean Beach to catch the sunset. We made fast plans to grab some beers at the Beach Chalet along the shore afterwards. The Chalet is it’s own brewery and we had a great time sampling brews!
Schoola is this amazing online thrift store that sells clothing to benefit schools in the US and the Malala Fund internationally. All clothes are donated and 40% of all the proceeds go to benefit children’s education. Online thrift stores are becoming popular, but I haven’t found another one that gives back like Schoola. Next time you’re cleaning out your closet, don’t drop off your clothes at Goodwill, send them into Schoola instead! You can request a bag HERE (free shipping!) and don’t forget to write your donation off during next tax season. If you’re interested in learning more about how Schoola works, head over here.
My white lace dress and boho cardigan are both from Schoola (c/0). (They’re both comfy yet feminine and pretty. Summers here aren’t the warmest, but I’ve been wearing this exact outfit around the house nonstop!)
If you stay along the ocean after it gets dark you’ll see bonfires popup up on the beach. We were even lucky enough to spot some (probably illegal) fireworks go off just outside the Beach Chalet window. Summers in San Francisco sure can be foggy, but moments like those make it worth it.
