I pride myself on being the queen of cozy. I live a life of hygge, soft sweaters, warm slippers and cozy anything, but especially cozy blankets. When the Barefoot Dreams Blanket became all the rage amongst fellow cozy addicts (all thanks to the Kardashians making it popular on Keeping up with the Kardashians) I was influenced right away.
Until I looked at the price and realize it was a Kardashian-priced throw blanket. $180 price tag?! No thank you. (Almost as bad as the Cloud Couch they made famous.)
So I scoured the interwebs and found all the best Barefoot Dreams Blanket Dupes that look and feel almost the same but are a fraction of the price.
11 Affordable Barefoot Dreams Dupes: Same Cozy Feel, Fraction Of The Price
When hunting for Barefoot Dreams Throw lookalikes, I looked for sherpa and knit throw blankets that were super soft and a similar style or pattern as the real thing. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Throw Blankets come in a lot of colors and patterns but are best known for their neutral colors or leopard print styles.
Now, time to cozy up with one of these affordable Barefoot Dreams throw blanket dupes and stay warm all winter long without spending almost $200!
If you're looking for the famous Barefoot Dreams Leopard Blanket dupe, this is the best one!! It comes in a tan and cream color, just like the real things, and has a super similar pattern. But it's only $56! They nailed the fabric on this one, many past shoppers rave about how this blanket feels almost like the same texture as the real Barefoot blanket. This is also probably the most popular Barefoot Dreams Dupe Amazon has so if you are looking for something on Prime to ship to your couch ASAP, go with this one.
Holy moly, this has to be the best Barefoot Dreams dupe blanket on the market! The Stargazer Knit Throw by Urban Outfitters is large, 100% Polyester, super soft like a cloud and comes in 4 colors. The texture looks super similar to the real thing, too. Best part? It's $50, but sometimes on sale for under $39!! This is the one I bought myself. It makes great gifts, too, since it's so affordable! (UO doesn't just do fashion, they have some great gems like this blanket!) )
Finally a pink Barefoot Dreams Cheetah Blanket dupe! This baby is $99, so not as cheap as the Leopard blanket Walmart has, but it's still a lot more affordable than the real one. And it's pink! And made with Polyester and faux fur so it's guaranteed to be your favorite cozy knit throw all winter long from Christmas, the New Year and beyond!
DUDE, the pom pom sherpa throws at Pottery Barn are LEGIT! While in-store a while back I had to pry myself away from feeling them all since they are so soft! The only major difference between the Potter Barn dupe and the real Barefoot Dreams blankets are the pom poms included. But I think they add a little fun touch!
If the pom poms are a deal breaker, you can instead try this other blanket from Pottery Barn that's called the "Marshmellow Blanket" and I'm honestly not sure why it doesn't also have a cult following since it's heavenly. I mean, the name says it all! It is a bit pricier than other dupes but will save you coin.
Another pink leopard dupe! This one is a lot softer in terms of color, as the pink is more like a light blush. But it's 100% polyester and thus really soft to the touch. It's usually $88, but you can get it on a mega sale sometimes as low as $30!
Guys, this blanket only $17 and comes in SO MANY sizes! Everything from a small throw to 60 x 80 inches (big enough for your bed!) Super soft, of course, but you can't beat that price. It currently only comes in a solid grey but hopefully Walmart will add some new colors and patterns soon that look more like the designer blanket.
As a color lover, my major pet peeve with all the dupe Barefoot dreams blankets are they're neutral. I want one that's bright pink or green or yellow! Thankfully, Verishop offers a dupe in tons of bright shades. Allt he soft feels and comfort with all the color, and for under $100.
Another fantastic dupe at Walmart! This one is about $40 but has that classic Leopard partner. It's even packaged up in a similar way that the real Barefoot dreams blanket is, so if you are gifting this to someone, the presentation will be *chef kiss* spot on.
I actually had to double check the product listing on this to make sure it wans't actually a blanket Barefoot Dreams makes because holy cow, this pattern is SO similar! It's pricey at $120 but that's still $50 less than the OG so you'll be saving money and getting something that looks almost the same. And feels the same, too.
I just had to include my favorite Barefoot Dreams CozyChic robe dupe! Target makes one that I swear to shoe feels like you're wrapping yourself up in a cloud. It comes in grey and white, and up to XXL and is only $40! I always use this after my Sunday self care day to really treat myself. There are some decent throw blankets Target has that feel kinda like Barefoot blanket alternative, and while usually, they're my go-to home decor shop, I think their bathrobe game is where it's at here.
You can wait for a coveted Barefoot Dreams Blanket sale or you can just buy one of these cozy dupes of Barefoot dream blankets like I did. You seriously will never be able to tell the difference and even the most die-hard fans of the OG will have to do a double take.
I went with the Urban Outfitters Barefoot Dreams dupe as I mentioned above. I love my white one so much I think I may have to get more in different colors to reflect the different seasons. I also want one for my bed and one for my windowsill for when I cozy up at home on a cold October or December day, sipping tea and need something cozy to curl up in…
