I’ve been testing and reviewing skincare for over 12 years now and I’ve tried enough “clean” and “organic” products that I can be a bit distrustful. So when I started digging into this Kora Organics review, I went in with my guard up.

I focused my testing on three products I used consistently enough to form real opinions of: Turmeric Glow Drops, Noni Glow Face Oil and Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum.
KORA Organics Turmeric Glow Drops Niacinamide Alternative Serum Review ($79)
This one is my favorite from the whole lineup.
I use niacinamide in my skincare routine regularly and I also slug with hyaluronic acid and retinol. Here’s the deal though: layering all of that can sometimes be too much, especially heading into summer. Retinol on top of everything can really push sensitive skin over the edge.
The Turmeric Glow Drops felt like a gentler, dewier alternative for the mornings when I wake up looking dull and flat.
My actual routine with this: I wake up, do my microcurrent device, wash my face, put the drops on, go make coffee, and let it just sit and absorb. An hour or two later my skin looks noticeably more alive. It’s not dramatic. It’s just a really nice glow that lasts.
The formula uses turmeric plus two plant-based niacinamide alternatives (Crowberry and Birch Bark) instead of traditional niacinamide, which means you get the brightening and barrier-support benefits without the irritation risk.
Hyaluronic acid and Atlantic Sea Water are in there too for hydration and pore minimizing. My skin tone looks more even and the texture has improved since I started using it. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated without any heaviness.

KORA Organics Noni Glow Face Oil Review ($78)
The Noni Glow Face Oil is the OG product from this brand. It’s won multiple awards and it’s Miranda’s self-described number one skin savior. So I was curious.
I used this at night, mostly. It’s a lightweight blend of Noni Fruit, Rosehip Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Seabuckthorn. It absorbs faster than I expected for a face oil and it doesn’t leave that greasy residue that makes you want to immediately wash your face.
After using it consistently for two weeks straight I did feel like my skin elasticity improved. It felt bouncier and more supple.
It’s lightweight and fast-absorbing, which I think works for most skin types. I could see it potentially feeling like a lot if you have oily skin, so maybe save it for your everything shower days or drier winter months rather than making it a daily thing.
One thing I’ll flag: you have to shake the bottle really well before you use it. Like, really well. The formula separates and you want to make sure you’re getting an even blend every time. The scent is rose, geranium, and jasmine and it smells lovely. Not overpowering. Just nice.
- Worth it if: You’re into face oils and want one with a solid track record and nourishing ingredients.
- Skip it if: You hate any scent in your skincare at all. It’s subtle but present. Also save it for nighttime or drier days if you’re on the oilier side.
KORA Organics Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum Review ($80)
The Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum is not a bad product. There is nothing wrong with it per se, but t’s just not for me.
It’s a milky serum with a 5% active blend of Bakuchiol and Alfalfa Extract as the retinol alternative, plus Acai Stem Cells, Noni Fruit, and Rosehip Oil. KORA claims nearly 80% of retinol users said this performed better than traditional retinol, which is a bold claim. I get why people love it.
My issue is purely personal. I found it a little too thick to use comfortably in the morning, and when it comes to a retinol step in my routine, I just reach for Nivea and some other products I know and trust.
I want actual retinol. I know that’s not for everyone, especially if you have sensitive skin or your skin just does not get along with traditional retinol. In that case this would be a solid alternative.
So I wouldn’t repurchase it for myself, but I would recommend it to someone who can’t use regular retinol and wants a clean, certified organic option that moisturizes well too.

- Skip it if: You’re like me and prefer actual retinol and want something lighter in texture.

I didn’t test these personally but I want to include them because they’re core to understanding the full range and several of them have some serious credibility behind them.
Turmeric Glow Moisturizer ($68)
The Turmeric Glow Moisturizer won the Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2021 and it’s one of the brand’s bestsellers. It’s a rich, refillable moisturizer with Turmeric, Noni Fruit, and a nutrient-rich oil blend (Desert Date, Rosehip, Seabuckthorn, Avocado, Maracuja).
It uses liposome technology to help active ingredients actually penetrate the skin, and it also contains Licorice for brightening and Hyaluronic Acid for hydration.
It’s definitely on my list to try. The fact that it comes with refill pods to reduce waste is a nice touch too.
Turmeric Brightening and Exfoliating Scrub + Mask ($56)
This is a cult favorite and it won the Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2022. The Turmeric Scrub and Mask is a 2-in-1 you can use as an exfoliating scrub or a leave-on detox mask.
Certified organic Turmeric and Rosehip Seeds do the brightening and polishing work, with Green Tea Leaf Powder as a natural exfoliant and Aspen Bark to smooth texture.
For all skin types. I hear about this one constantly from people who swear by it, so this may be my next purchase.
Kakadu Plum Vitamin C Serum ($79)
The Kakadu Plum Vitamin C Serum is powered by Kakadu Plum, which is the world’s richest natural source of Vitamin C. It also has Acerola Cherry Ferment and Ascorbyl Glucoside, which is one of the gentler, more stable forms of Vitamin C, plus Hyaluronic Acid.
If you’re someone who struggles with traditional Vitamin C serums because they irritate your skin or oxidize too fast, this seems like a really smart alternative.

The Turmeric Glow Drops are a yes from me, full stop. I’ll repurchase those. The Noni Glow Face Oil is really good and I’ll keep reaching for it.
The Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum is a well-made product that just doesn’t match my personal routine preferences. That said, if you’re sensitive to traditional retinol, it is probably worth trying.
