March 2025 Horoscopes For Self Care & Wellness

These March 2025 self-care horoscopes for each of the 12 zodiac signs are based on the upcoming astrological transits, (the movement of the planets around the sky), and some of the general themes that are going to be activated for you in the coming month.

As a witch, I’ll be sharing some predictions, insight, and inspiration on how you can most effectively nurture yourself and practice self-care this month based on the cosmos. 

I highly recommend that you generate your birth chart at www.astro.com or www.astro-charts.com and read the horoscope for your rising sign but if you only know your sun sign, you can read for sun signs too or instead. Venus Retrograde in Aries

(March 1 – March 27): For almost all of March, Venus, the planet of love and desire, will be retrograde in Aries, the sign of passion and individuality. Venus retrograde only happens once every year and a half and it hasn’t happened in Aries since spring 2017. This retrograde is all about reflecting on our relationships, finances, and sense of self-worth. 

This Venus retrograde, reflect on your worthiness…

• Aries: You are inherently worthy – and nothing and no one can ever take that away. 
• Taurus: Heal your subconscious fears that being bold could make you less worthy. 
• Gemini: You are worthy of appreciation, not just from a few people, but from many.
• Cancer: Your abundance comes from doing the work that you are passionate about.
• Leo: Expand your idea of what worthiness is and disconnect it from how hard you work.
• Virgo: Embrace the aspects of yourself that you dislike – you are worthy BECAUSE of these, not in spite of them.

• Scorpio: Take a good look in the mirror at the sexy babe staring back at you – your sex appeal is on fire.

Mercury Retrograde in Aries

(March 15 – 29): The second half of the month, Mercury will also be retrograde in Aries. As the planet of communication, Mercury’s retrogrades are often marked by miscommunications, typos, and broken tech. In this passionate fire sign, we can expect that tempers may be running high as well.  

This Mercury retrograde, reflect on what really pisses you off and why…

• Aries: You bottle up your passion because everyone says it’s “too much” – knock it off and let that shit out.
• Taurus: Get curious about what actually does make you angry – do you even know?  
• Gemini: The state of the world is worth raging about, so get loud in the name of justice.

• Leo: You’re sick and tired of dogmatic, bullshit rules being imposed on you.
• Virgo: Speak up about the taboos you embody; now is not the time to be shy and you using your voice lifts everyone up. 
• Libra: The next time your partner or best friend does that thing that drives you crazy, actually let them know instead of biting your tongue to keep the peace. 
• Scorpio: Dismissed by the medical establishment? It’s time to advocate for your own wellness.

Eclipse Season in Virgo and Aries

(Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – March 14, Solar Eclipse in Aries – March 29): In addition to some big retrogrades, March is also our first eclipse season of the year. Eclipse season happens twice a year and comprises a pair of eclipses – a full moon lunar eclipse and a new moon solar eclipse. This one is important in particular because it is the first Virgo eclipse we’ve had in nearly ten years and the last Aries eclipse we will have for nearly a decade as well, so there is a big theme of endings and beginnings. 

The Virgo eclipse is beginning a new era of releasing perfectionism and self-criticism. The Aries eclipse is closing a chapter of embodying passion and self-discovery.
