I pretty much lived in this dress during our trip to Rarotonga. I tried this on at Target and instantly fell in love with it. The pattern, the cut, the comfy breeziness of it. I knew I could wear this on the couch writing or out to a nice dinner, it’s that’s versatile.
So of course, I brought this to the Cook Islands with me and I wore it more than once! The breezy fabric and cut were perfect for the warm days, but the length of the dress kept me warm once the sunset and it got chillier out.
I normally wear my hair down but this dress just calls for hair up to show off the shoulders! Actually, technically this dress is supposed to be worn with a tie in the front, but I prefer to tuck those strings inside and wear this dress as an off-the-shoulder mumu to highlight my shoulders.
Add on some cut string earrings, red lipstick and a cute purse and BOOM, the perfect island vacation dinner outfit or office look! I wore these slip-on shoes but you can also pair this mumu dress with any women’s flip flops and slides to complete the vibe.
Be prepared to see a lot of this dress on Instagram!
