Fourth of July is coming up (not like I have to tell you guys that!) and I’m sharing my favorite way to get dressed for the holiday: subtly. I know I can’t be the only one who hates buying themed things only to wear them once. Stars and Stripes suits + shorts are cute, but I prefer to stock my wardrobe with timeless pieces.
For that reason, I was excited to score this dress from Zuri Zuri by Flora, a fun, new online boutique. It’s white, lacy and comfortable. The perfect combination of chic and girly (my kind of summer dress!). I threw on my favorite shade of bold red lipstick to make a subtle July fourth outfit. If you have blue accessories (like sunglasses, bangles, or a purse), add those for a more straight-forward 4th of July look. The key is to not go overboard. Chic and timeless is always trendy.
This year, we are going to San Diego for July 4th and I’ll be bringing this dress and many other hot-weather pieces down there.
