This past weekend Robin and I drove over the Golden Gate Bridge to Tiburon, a sunny (and hilly!) little town right across the bay from San Francisco.
Some friends of ours were housesitting an adorable dog for the weekend and invited us over for wine, sunshine, and dog pets. Aka, my perfect weekend.
Tiburon is usually always warmer and sunnier than the city. During June Gloom (the foggiest season of San Francisco, where it’s normal for us to not see the sunshine for a whole month) Robin and I like to pop over the bridge for day trips to soak up some Vitamin D.
We love Sausalito but haven’t done too much exploring of Tiburon yet, so I was excited to revisit. For the warm summer-like weather, I put on my new whimsical floral dress from ASOS. I saw this fun, colorful pattern and immediately put this in my shopping cart.
The sleeves are fun because you can wear them up (like pictured here) or down to be an off the shoulder look.
These cute bow flats are also from ASOS. I’ve been into green lately and once I saw these flats were on sale, I also quickly added them to my cart. God, ASOS, you really got it easy with me! Just give this girl bows, florals and green and I’m a sucker for you.
My hat is one I’ve had for ages (similar here) and my straw purse is a thrift find (similar here.) Earrings are from a cute local artist Joyous Mondays. The tiny daisies matched the flowers on my dress perfectly!

Robin and I strolled around Tiburon for a bit checking out the houses, dreaming of having 3 million to spend on said houses and soaking up sunshine before visiting with friends. We can’t wait to come back soon, this time to eat dinner in town and perhaps a quick trip over to Angel Island.
And, I always have to say it since the Wisconsin in me is always in awe: warm weather in February that calls for a summer dress and straw hats is pure bliss. I love California.
