I strongly believe that every woman should have a signature bold lipstick color. A go-to to wear on daily or a trusty color for special occasions. I have no fear of wearing bold lipstick colors (they’re so much fun!), but I know many of you don’t know where to start in narrowing down your favorite shades. Here are some of my tips!
- Decide if you look better in warm or cool tones. You’ve probably already figured this out via the clothes you wear. I’m a warm tone gal, so I know that warmer toned lipsticks are best on me. Think corals, dessert rose and warm reds. Purples, hot pinks and nudes look great on cool-toned women.
- Buy a few different colors and try them out for a whole day. Notice how they make you feel. Confident? Silly? The one that makes you feel like a rockstar from the inside out is the one you should stick with.
- Don’t be afraid to dabble in the really “out there” colors like bright coral (my fave!), purples or even black.
- When in doubt, a bold red lipstick will do the trick! It looks great on everyone. And I mean, everyone!
