Hello from Big Bear Lake! Robin and I decided to do a last-minute adventure down here this week. We found a cute Airbnb with tons of outdoor space so we’ve been falling into a nice pattern of early morning hikes, chilling at the cabin and lazy nights on the porch (in the hot tub!)
Of course I couldn’t resist packing along some fall-tastic outfits because we don’t get seasons in San Francisco and I’ve been dying to take these cat tights out for a proper spin.
I found these cat tights from Modcloth last month and I think they turn any basic fall outfit instantly into something fun and quirky! Plus, I’ve been getting tons of compliments from them (especially from little kids – ha!)
Weather in Big Bear Lake during the fall is kinda funny. Mornings are cold – around 40 degrees. But by 10am you’re roasting and it’s 75. And of course, by 7pm it’s back to chilly. I packed a lot of sweaters but found an outfit like this one is perfect for roaming the streets mid-day to gawk at all the changing colors.
Everything I’m wearing (but the tights) are old staples of mine from previous seasons, but I’ve found similar items in stock for you if you want to recreate this quirky fall outfit!
