I’ve been seeing Vici Collection all over Instagram for years: the clean neutral tones, the “effortless chic” influencer vibe, the promise of trendy everyday fashion that looks way more expensive than it is.
Naturally, I had to find out if the hype was real.
As a curvy, size-14 woman, I’m always on the hunt for clothing that fits comfortably and looks cute. So I ordered six pieces from Vici, a mix of dresses, cozy knits and sweaters, and a faux-leather bodysuit, to test everything from fit and fabric to their return policy and overall quality.
This is my honest Vici clothing review, complete with try-on notes, first impressions, and what I’d actually buy again.
What Is Vici Clothing?
Vici Collection is a California-based online boutique known for feminine, trendy styles and daily new arrivals. Think flowy midi dresses, structured blazers, knit sets, and lots of creamy neutrals.
Their vibe is more “chic basics you can wear anywhere” than “statement Anthropologie.” They do a great job curating wearable pieces that feel fresh, perfect for everyday outfits or seasonal refreshes.
Is Vici Clothing Legit?
Yes, Vici is a real company, but it’s worth knowing a few things before ordering.
Vici isn’t accredited by the Better Business Bureau and currently holds a 1.13/5-star rating from more than 30 customer reviews. Most complaints mention:
- Store-credit-only returns (no cash refunds)
- Slow or copy-paste customer service replies
- Missing or delayed packages
- Quality that doesn’t always match the price tag
My experience was better, everything arrived neatly packaged within a week and matched what I ordered, but I can see how the store-credit policy could frustrate shoppers.
If you’re between sizes or trying the brand for the first time, read their return policy carefully before checking out.
First Impressions & Quality
I’d rank Vici’s quality as solid mid-tier. Think Old Navy or mid-range boutique, not cheap Amazon fast fashion, but not luxury.
Most fabrics are polyester blends, so these aren’t heirloom pieces like Sezane that will last a lifetime. Still, they feel soft, well-constructed, and comfortable to wear.
Price-wise, I think Vici runs a little high for what you get. But I’ll give them credit: their styling and curation are on point so they save time on shopping. If you fall in love with a piece, go for it otherwise, you can usually find something similar elsewhere for less.
Vici Try-On: What I Bought & How Each Piece Fits
Note: I didn’t try any jeans since as a curvy woman I know most stores do not make jeans that fit me well. My go-to after years of testing is Anthro’s Colette jean and I stick to that.
Hearthside Pleated Mini Skirt – Green
This skirt was my favorite piece. The knit is buttery soft and the fit is flattering without clinging. I wore it to brunch with a matching Sezane vest, green Bogs rain boots (it was pouring that day), and a plaid jacket and got so many compliments.
As a curvy girl, I don’t normally wear skirts this short, but I challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone. Would 100% buy this again.
Verdict: Fits true to size, cozy, and versatile.
Twas The Night Drape Off-The-Shoulder Midi Dress – Black
I wore this dress to a play recently. It’s comfy and stretchy, but honestly looks too plain once you throw a jacket on, it’s definitely meant to be worn solo with that off the shoulder top. I personally prefer more color, but if you love minimal black dresses, this one fits nicely.
Verdict: Soft and comfortable, but simple.
Fallen Daisy Oversized Knit Cardigan – Beige
This cardigan is adorable. The little stitched daisies make it perfect for fall and spring, and the slouchy fit gives it that cozy “hot chocolate weather” feel. I’ve already worn it multiple times.
Verdict: Love. Perfect transitional layer.
Nayla Mesh Inlay Fishtail Maxi Dress – Red
This Vici dress makes me feel hot. I don’t normally reach for tight dresses as a curvy woman, but this one is a showstopper. The red color, the mesh details, the fishtail hem, it’s giving confidence and main-character energy.
Verdict: Flattering and sultry. My favorite “night out” piece.
Keep It Together Mock Neck Leather Bodysuit – Black
This one looked amazing online but didn’t work for me. The faux leather doesn’t breathe at all, and the black color reads harsh in person. It’s stylish, but not comfortable.
Verdict: Skip it unless you love faux leather.
Warm Rose Quilted Zip-Up Jacket – Wine/Ivory
This Vici jacket looks more red online, but in person it’s a deep maroon. I wore it on a cruise around San Francisco and loved how warm it was. Great pockets, soft lining, and a relaxed fit. It runs a little large, so size down if you want a slimmer look.
Verdict: Cozy and cute for fall, just darker than expected.
Vici Sizing For Curvy Women Review
Here’s the biggest drawback: Vici only goes up to size XL.
That’s disappointing considering the average American woman is a size 16. That being said, everything fit me well and was true to size.
Vici Return Policy (Read Before You Buy)
Vici allows returns within 15 days of delivery for store credit only (no refunds). Once you start a return, you have another 15 days to send it back.
Items must be unworn and unwashed, and accessories, final sale, and BOGO items aren’t eligible. Store credit never expires, which is nice, but keep in mind you’ll be locked into future purchases instead of getting your money back.
Vici can also charge a $4.99 restocking fee for customers who make frequent returns.
If you’re new to the brand, I’d start with one or two items to test sizing before doing a big order.
My Final Vici Clothing Review
Vici Clothing is a legit brand with some genuinely cute, trendy pieces, especially if you love feminine, neutral outfits.
That said, the limited sizing, polyester fabrics, and store-credit-only returns mean it’s not the most inclusive or customer-friendly brand out there.
If you find something you really love, go for it. Their curated styles can fill wardrobe gaps or help you try trends without feeling cheap. But if you’re looking for long-term quality or size inclusivity, I’d steer toward brands like Sezane, Abercrombie Curve, or Madewell Plus instead.
Would I shop at Vici again?
Is Vici worth it? Yes, but selectively. When I want a cute brunch skirt or a confidence-boosting red dress, I know where to look.
- Quality: 7/10 — better than Amazon, not as good as Sezane
- Fit: Limited to XL, some stretch pieces work for curves
- Price: Slightly high for polyester
- Returns: Store credit only
- Verdict: Worth trying if you love a specific piece
If you’ve tried Vici too, drop your thoughts in the comments, I love hearing how pieces fit different body types!
