We’ve been living in San Francisco for little over a year and by now I’ve fully mastered the art of layers. I always bundle up in sweaters in the winter, but I quickly get bored with the same combination (sweater + jeans + booties) and am always playing with layers to make “new” outfits.
Sweater // Boohoo Jumpsuit // Thredup (similar) Heels // Target Purse // Vintage Watch // Jord
I’ve never been one for preppy looks, but I’ve really been digging sweaters over shirts and jumpsuits with collars. I like the pop of color the collar offers without sacrificing the overall look of the sweater. For today’s walk around the neighborhood, I paired my well-worn maroon Boohoo sweater with a light green jumpsuit I picked up from Thredup (similar here) and leopard heels.
We wandered over to Grand View Park which, as I’ve mentioned before, has some of the most wonderful views of the city. You can see East to downtown, Westward to the ocean and you can even spot the Golden Gate Bridge peaking out over the hills. It can get rather windy up there, but it wasn’t too bad today. Combined with a fresh rain that punched up the colors of the landscape, we were able to enjoy the wonderful views without hazard.
If you’re looking for a way to spice up your winter wardrobe, try mixing and matching your sweaters with your buttons up and other collared pieces!
