When I saw this top, I knew I had to have it. Lately, I’ve been really into unique pieces that draw from current trends but are extra special.I think I spent too much of my youth dressing basic and trying to fit in. I’ve finally come to the stage where I’m really interested in interesting pieces of clothing and I think bow tops are the new way to express that fun. Big bell sleeves have been in for a while now, and bows are starting to make a comeback. So far, I’ve seen mainly tiny, chic bows used in clothing. But this baby, this big bow top is FUN!
On this morning, I headed to the Dogpatch with a friend for brunch and wanted something fresh to wear. The first few times I wore this top, I paired it with a simple orange midi skirt for a pop of contrasting color, but I let the bow top do all the legwork. To switch things up, I wore a jumpsuit over the top to really highlight the bow, make it pop in a different way. I threw on my beret and blue sunglasses, making it feel playful. I wore my hair in pigtails to add an even larger element of fun.
