Where all my loungewear addicts at?! I’ve always been partial to comfy yet cute clothes around the house, even before 2020. But this year has shown me just how deep my adoration for loungewear goes. DEATH TO JEANS AND REAL BRAS!
I’m team pretty little lacey bralettes that make me feel sexy every time I glance in the mirror (yet are Instagram-Story safe.) When I saw Aerie had a killer holiday sale I snapped up a new outfit that is SO SOFT, so pretty and I’m convinced all the girls and theys need this in their loungewear rotation.
I mixed and matched this set. I’ve always wanted a pretty white lacey bralette, I feel like they are just so timeless and go with everything. Similarly, I wanted a pair of black shorts – timeless and a staple. They’ll be a godsend come the hot months in the city that’s for sure. And the shorts are on sale for just under $13 right now!!!
I’ve been holding onto my Sophie shorts from middle school literally for like 15 years but the last pair finally died last year and I’ve been shorts-less since. (And, between you and me – I’ve been stealing Robin’s boxers whenever it was hot out so it was time to actually upgrade to my own pair so he doesn’t divorce me.)
Anyway, I got a Large in both the bralette and the shorts, though I would suggest sizing up on the bralette as the band is ever so slightly tight on me. But this whole outfit is super comfy and you’ll love it. Paired with a headband and earrings (maybe a swipe of lipstick if I’m really feeling crazy) and I feel put together yet ready for a big day writing on the couch.
