If I wasn’t in the habit of documenting my daily life on social media, I probably would have tried to get away with wearing this dress every.single.day. while in Scottsdale. It’s so just dang comfy, flowy and perfect for the desert heat!
Plus, yellow is my favorite color and always makes me smile. We lucked out and got a slightly warmer than normal week in Arizona. Usually, November sees temps in the 70’s but we had mid-80’s the entire time. Woohoo!! Which just calls for a yellow bohemian dress like this one!
This dress is from Target and you might recognize it from this post. It’s the same dress but in a different color! I love love love my first dress and wear it all the time, so when I saw that Target brought the same style but in my favorite color, I had to have it!
Here, I went out all on color (which is perfect in the desert!) and went with yellow heels and yellow earrings. The bag is one I bought in Cabo, and I just adore all the colors. The headband is from & Other Stories. I wear this headband a few different ways – either under my hair and pushed up (traditional) or over my hair in more of a summer of love, hippie style.
I think a lot of people get scared to wear bold colors in general, but especailly on vacation. I see a lot of tourists in yoga pants and sweaters (no shame!) but a stunning, relaxing backdrop like Scottsdale makes for a fun place to try something different, something loud like this yellow dress.
Just looking at these photos makes me want to run back to Arizona asap. Until next time….
