While the rest of the country is gearing up for fall, here in San Francisco our summer season is about to start. Usually, I’m all here for countless warm park days in the sun with friends, but this year is different of course. It’s maybe the first time ever that I’m a little bummed about our summer – I’m all about fall leaves, pumpkin candles and “spooky” cozy sweaters right now!
My favorite new sweater is this Halloween cat sweater from Modcloth. I mean, hello, crazy cat lady here! I can’t resist anything with a cat pattern on it to begin with, but I really love the fair isle sweater style. Over the past year few winters, I’ve been slowly collecting more and more sweaters like this. As a color-lover, I always find Fair Isle sweaters just more fun than neutral ones.
This cat sweater is vibrant enough to actually wear past Halloween, though it has all the playful “spooky” themed vibes for September and October outfits. While I paired it with knee-high boots and a midi skirt here, I’ll probably be wearing it mostly with cozy bottoms around the house. It does make the perfect Zoom meeting top, doesn’t it?
