Robin and I just spent a night at this adorable Historic Adair House Airbnb in Mariposa , which is a cute mining town outside Yosemite National Park. It made the perfect home base for exploring the town, which happens to be filled with some of our new favorite shops and breweries.
Come take a tour of this cute Yosemite house!
The Adair House is located in the town of Mariposa, California. It’s in a residential neighborhood but within walking distance to downtown Mariposa and all the best shops, like Chocolate Soup (which has the best hot chocolate in the state, you must stop here on your visit!)
This Airbnb is also close to a Yosemite National Park entrance, making it easy to pop into the park to explore! We love the national park, especially visiting Yosemite in the fall or early winter when the leaves are popping and the crowds are gone.
The house itself if super cute and homey, yet chic at the same time. I loved all the little details around that made this house come to life (like an iron bed frame which felt so old timey, I loved it!) Their screened-in porch is also a huge highlight for evening happy hours. We picked up a bottle of wine from a local winery and sipped while listening to the birds. It got a bit chilly at night but there were plenty of blankets to wrap ourselves up in.
There’s a TV, bathroom, shower, wifi, fully equipped kitchen and everything you need when booking a vacation rental. It was honestly hard to leave and I wish we spent more time here. If you’re looking to stay directly in the town of Mariposa, you simply must book the Adair House!
If the Adair House is all booked up, these are 10 of my favorite unique Yosemite Airbnbs and cabins to rent. Featuring a glamping hut, A-frame and even a train converted into a tiny house!
I hope you have a fun Yosemite adventure!
