Cupshe Swimsuits Used To Be Bad, But Are So Much Better
Updated 2024: I wrote my very first Cupshe review post back in 2019 (!!!) and had a pretty terrible experience ordering from Cupshe. Half the swimsuits just weren’t designed in a way to fit over curvy bodies well, some had quality issues and I had a hard time making a return.
But they quickly smoothed out their return policy, got better customer service, and they must have switched manufacturers since I gave them another shot in 2020 and had a MUCH better order. And I’ve been ordering (and wearing) Cupshe swimsuits all over the world for the past 4 years, so that’s why you should trust this review post.

Cupshe was founded in 2015 in Guangzhou, China but didn’t get popular in the United States until around 2020. Now they are a $150 Million dollar and counting swimwear brand with iconic collaborations with celebrities like The Bachelorette’s JoJo.
Cupshe ships to over 100 countries worldwide and you can shop their bathing suits directly on their website and some styles are even available on Amazon. Most price points for swimsuits are around $20-40, making them an affordable option that even comes in plus sizes!!

I’ve tried a LOT of Cupshe one pieces, bikinis, tankinis, dresses bags and cover-ups. These are the top pieces that I still own and wear today.
The Floral Print Twist Bralette and Spliced High Waist Bikini Set combines a charming floral pattern with a trendy twist-front bralette and high-waisted bottoms. This cute floral is perfect for Spring Break!
I usually love colorful one pieces but this black one piece is dang good. It makes me feel like Meredith Blake. The mesh cut out hits at your waist, which is what pear shape swimwear should do, and the one shoulder draws the eye upwards instead of downwards. Looks really good with a straw hat, too.

Ekk, how cute is this floral pattern?! It's effortlessly sweet and flirty. The high-waisted ruched bottom keeps you secure and the bikini top fits like a dream. It's perfect for spring and summer beach days!
This is one of my favorite bikinis that I own! The bandeau bikini top with the smocked material screams picnic by the lake, or maybe July 4th? I love to wear it in the summer through fall. I always get compliments (PS I'm a size 14 but the Large fits best here on me!)
I think Cupshe makes some of the most flattering swimsuits for curvy gals like me & I really adore this new bikini top with ruffles. The bikini bottoms are made high waist so it's extra comfy, but the pattern is super youthful and fresh. It's my fave bikini of the season!
I've worn this bikini all over the world and some of my friends even own it. It looks amazing on everyone, but especially if you're looking for the best bathing suit for short curvy body types, you'll love this bikini set! Cupshe Size Guide – Are They Curvy Friendly?
I find their one-piece swimsuits to be really wonderful. Some of the swimsuits have built-in tummy control if that’s what you’re looking for!
I also love their bikinis. When I was younger and still not comfortable in my body, I always stayed away from bikinis since I was afraid to show my stomach. But since I have learned to love all my curves and adore strutting around in a bikini.
And Cupshe bikinis are hands down my favorite to shop from. They’re always so affordable and trendy. While I don’t like to wear the tiny triangle bikinis or low-waist ones, they offer those in a lot of cute styles. I prefer to shop the high-waisted bikinis and always feel so confident in them!
My go-to color is red when it comes to swimsuits, and my all time favorite red bikini is from Cupshe.
So yes, Cupshe IS curvy and plus-size friendly! You can shop swimsuits with confidence!
Watch Out For Cupshe Scams
I’ve seen bikini sets and other Cupshe dresses on weird third-party seller sites that are clearly scams. Cupshe always uses the same handful of models so it’s easy to spot when someone stole their photo and is using it as a fake product.
Cupshe Clothing Review
Cupshe also sells beach coverups, dresses, rompers, tops, sweaters and accessories like shoes and beach bags!
But, as I chatted about above, their clothing is a bit hit-and-miss. I’ve bought some Cupshe dresses that are well made and last a while, but most of their clothing is geared toward a beach cover-up style, so the fabric is thinner.
I’ve also had Cupshe clothing fall apart on me quickly. In fact, I’m writing this Cupshe review from a pool in Lisbon and this morning I put on a green Cupshe maxi dress I was pumped to wear, only to have the strap snap instantly!
I love their dress styles but the honest tea is: their summer clothes aren’t always made well, but their swimsuits are!!

If all you want is a cover up, Cupshe makes great swim cover ups, or something for a festival then you are safe shopping. But their summer clothing is maybe something to be more careful in purchasing.
Their autumn clothing, though, is much better! I’ve owned some of their sweaters and winter dresses for years and they are still amazing, soft and something I reach for every October!
Final Verdict: Is Cupshe Legit?
Is Cupshe worth it? YES! As a curvy size 14 woman, I love Cupshe. They have such a wide variety of swimsuits to meet any trend and vibe (who else loves to wear a swimsuit to fit the location??) and they also sell cute cover ups.
Buying swimsuits online is hard since you never know if something is going to fit you, but I always feel confident when purchasing Cupshe swimwear. Their sizing is consistent, their swimsuits are good quality for the low price point and it’s easy to have them shop.
I’ve been wearing Cupshe for years and will continue to do so.

What Is The Cupshe Return Policy?
Cupshe returns used to be pretty terrible. My first order, I had to jump through so many hoops just to get an agent to approve my return. And even then, they were only able to give me store credit instead of a proper return.
These days, the Cupshe return policy is totally different. You can log into your account to see your order history and easily start a return process as long as it’s in the return window.
How Fast Is Cupshe Shipping?
Free shipping over $59 and usually takes about 10 business days as most of their warehouses are based in China and product needs time to ship.
That being said, I’ve sometimes had orders arrive as little as a few days. They do a good jo at updating you on estimated shipping when you order.
I've always wanted a tiny white bikini and love this white one from Cupshe. It has this nice floral jacquard design that's subtle and adds a bit of texture. It holds the girls and looks dang good under mesh cover ups.
Is Cupshe Reliable?
I find Cupshe to be a very reliable swimsuit company. I know their swimsuits will always fit me and that they are true to size. I know they will respond to me if I have any questions in a timely manner, and I know I won’t get scammed. Unlike some shady TikTok shop brands, Cupshe isn’t going to send you a bad product and then ghost you.
