On lazy weekend mornings, Robin and I love to go on slow explorations of the city. We’ve lived in San Francisco for almost a year now and still haven’t come even close to seeing all of the city. Last Saturday after breakfast (he made pancakes – yum!) we drove over to the Inner Richmond district to Ashley’s Cafe. I spot this cafe every day on the bus to and from work and have been dying to check it out. I grabbed a sea salt latte (yum yum!) to go and we casually strolled around the neighborhood.
San Francisco has been having this wonderful indian summer that is slowly starting to fade. The leaves are turning yellow, this day was finally cool enough to wear a sweater and jeans in the morning. I like it and hate it at the same time (not ready to give summer up!)
We haven’t done much exploring of the Richmond area so we really loved seeing the houses and taking in new views. My take-away is that the Inner Richmond is filled with lots of cute dogs taking their owners for walks 😛
Everything I’m wearing is from a season or two (or like, 7 in some cases) old. I’m trying to save money on new pretty things and instead get better at mixing old favorites into fresh outfits so my closet feels new. These babies from Target are my go-to booties (though I’ve been eyeing some new ones that I’ve linked below for you). The jeans are thrifted and the sweater is also from Target. And the scarf is so old I can’t even remember where I bought it. But I’ve linked new versions of everything for you because I adore this outfit. Simple chic for the fall, no?
