How is it already June?! Halp, 2019 is halfway over and I’m still over here feeling like it’s March. Anyways, the start of the month means it’s time for another edition of My Favorite Things!
I’ll always share my selection of favorites for the month, but if you’re craving more product recommendations, funny TV shows to watch, cool Podcast episode, yummy cocktail recipes (and like, way more things) then you should subscribe to my weekly newsletter “Soul Chats”!
My Favorite Things This Month
Round Straw Purse
As I wrote about in this purse roundup, I have a low key obsession with straw/wicker/ rattan bags. I found this round one last month and have been using it everywhere. Like, running errands to brunches to date nights. I originally picked it up because I thought it would be handy for my upcoming summer Cook Islands trip but it’s now officially my go-to purse of the entire season.
Lotion In A Stick
I discovered Lucy’s Handcrafted Lotion Bars while on a trip to Eau Claire with Travel Wisconsin earlier this year. I immediately feel in love with both the scent and quality. I used it every day during that chilly winter trip, but it got lost in a pocket of my suitcase and I only just rediscovered it. I’ve been using this beeswax lotion as chapstick and lotion multiple times day. Highly recommend this small brand!
Rothys Flats
I finally gave Rothy’s a chance after hearing whispers about these shoes on my travel Facebook groups. I haven’t had a chance to wash them yet, only had them for a couple of weeks, but I can attest that they are comfy AF! I got The Point in Flame, a bright flirty color that makes any outfit pop. Perfect as a travel shoe to add a little flair on trips!
Pro tip: size up a half size in Rothy’s. I got myself a size 10 and it fits perfectly.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Pads
Formulated with organic ingredients, these brightening pads smooth and tone while reducing dark spots. I’ve been using Juice Beauty Green Apple pads a couple of times a week at night before my bedtime moisturizer. I love how they tingle a bit and I do feel like my skin has been a bit brighter since incorporating these into my daily skincare routine.
Colorful Earrings
On top of having an obsession with straw bags, I also am addicted to bold, funky earrings. I’ve highlighted Cotton & Clay Co here before, but she’s just so good, I had to include my newest pair of earrings into this month’s roundup. The founder gave this colorful geometric pair of earrings to me during Alt Summit a couple of months ago and I can’t stop wearing them! So bold and makes every outfit – even a basic one – magically turn into a head turner.
(I can’t link the exact pair because she makes everything by hand and is always adding new styles. Shop her available earrings here.)
Here’s to an amazing June, everyone!

Thanks for putting up this nice detailed overview of the game.
Just fyi, I googled whether 1 is a prime and it seems like its not. So I think the answer to:
“Many plaques on the building said “1873” but NONE of the provided answers in the game added up to 11.” is probably 7+3=10.
Interesting! I don’t remember what the options were anymore, but I don’t think 10 was an option, I think we picked 12 as it was the nearest? Regardless, love knowing the number isn’t a prime so that’s good to know when I play the game again next year!
